A Perfect Cure for Insomnia: Another Book by Bill Clinton

Prepare to fall asleep, but Bill Clinton is writing another book. His autobiography was so tedious I wondered if it had been ghost written by Al Gore. In fact I was so bored by it I couldn't finish it. In the new book Clinton will focus on public service and individual citizen activism, telling a story that he hopes will "lift spirits" and "touch hearts". Yeah, right.

far better reading on Bill Clinton: Christopher Hitchens' "Nobody left to lie to"

Clinton is one of the most revolting people in public life. I just CANNOT understand the mob tumescence and slobbering delight that greets such a complete wanker.

Are people (still) really that naive?

He hopes it will "lift skirts" and "touch breasts" more like.

PS If you're wondering what Clinton's legacy is this excellent short film might help:

Let's have one more heave at getting this tale into the public domain:

My narks tell me that the dope scene at Oxford during the Clinton era revolved around hash brownies rather than spliffs, so draw your own conclusions as to whether anyone would need to inhale to get high.....

Meanwhile, I expect it will take a village to read Clinton's book.....
