Guido Names Second Prescott Mistress

Guido, obviously intoxicated by drinking most of the EU wine lake, has named Prescott's "other other woman" HERE.

Damn!
I'd have held off and transferred my response to your 'working class hero' piece if I'd known you were putting this one up.
Can't you do trailers, forthcoming events, or the like, Iain?

Anyone who fancies a bit of peace and quiet ..... listen to the upcoming deafening silence from the BBC on this one.

Unless someone is stupid enough to sue, of course.
Then it'll be a really fun bun-fight.

Guido wants to look out, or they won't let him back in!

I think, through the haze of rosé, Guido has sensed that there will be no penalty for mentioning Rosie.

It was a consulship, not a senatorship, that Caligula sought to elevate Incitatus to.

No chance of your being on the BBC News 24 newspaper review tonight is there Iain? It could be fun!

He has all but named a third too. All that is needed now is to look at the Diplomatic List.

I'm interested in the “small number” of civil servants said to be staying with JP; could that "small number" be one, and could it have been female, and in the same room as him ?
How do we get the Civil Service to clarify what this small number is ?

Incidentally, in some parts of the US, the nickname for rosé is cracklin' Rosie.

Oh, the irony! The irony!

This is just ridiculous. This story has been so out for so long it is untrue. Why doesn't anyone write about it? I know truth is no excuse for libel, but there is a serious public interest issue here in relation to alleged nepotism.

'Course a statement (from Prezzie) clarifying things might be mildly diverting. His probable verbal confusion between 'private'/ 'privates' and 'public'/ 'pubic' could be entertaining.

Though with the latter his response would probably be:
"Nay, lad. Them Roman wars were nothing to do with me."

Putting the boot in: the best indoor sport ever invented.

Womble,

If your guess is correct, I wonder just what would Mr Anschutz, a Christian, conservative republican, make of the DPMUK conducting an adulterous affair on his property?

Or perhaps the casino deal in Docklands was big enough for him to surpress his religious scruples for a weekend?

The words co-defendent spring to mind...

This is all very interesting (!), but might there not be more importance (at least to us millions of London commuters) in the fact that the Evening Standard is reporting in connection with the heatwave:
"The Mayor said today there could be a "serious loss of life" if a train breaks down in a tunnel." Does the Mayor know something we don't? (Aren't train break downs predictable?)
And might this have anything to do with the anniversary of 7/7?

Nepotism (anon 5.03)? Are the alleged persons related? Goodness.

(though as the luscious Madame West remarked, "Goodness had nothing to do with it, dearie..."

Poncefoot, in relation to nepotism you are a little too narrowly ecclesiastical in your interpretation of the term.
