Philip Anschutz Doesn't Do Rooms for £30 a Night...

...but in his neighbouring town of Greeley, Colorado, you can just about find a cheap and chearful motel for $69.99 (£38.25). I know, because I just found out their rates (click HERE).

Philip Anschutz is staying this week at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hyde Park at a cost of £1,880 per night. Isn't that more like the figure Mr Prescott should have donated to charity? And more to the point, why is no one asking why the poor bloody taxpayer gave the £30 to charity, and not Prescott himself? He's on record as saying they didn't discuss anything political and he went there to fulfill his schoolboy dreams of staying on a cattle ranch. I fail to see why I should pay my taxes to pay for him to indulge himself in this or indeed any other way.

The Matt cartoon is from today's Daily Telegraph.

Wasn't it also the taxpayer who coughed up his council tax on one of his 'official homes'?

But let's not be too hard on the man. Rumour is that Tony Blair's been on to the Pope to try to get JP beatified for sacrificing himself to distract attention from the husband of a British Cabinet member resisting attempts to get him tried in Italy over work for Tony's friend Berlusconi.

We have, of course, already paid through our taxes, for his sexual exploits - enjoyed in company time, as well as playing with his balls.....what was that game called. Give me a clue someone?
