Thus undercutting the entire post.

Its a bit laughable saying that the reason Smith will not take the chicken run is that if she loses they will have lost the election.
Laving aside I think that this is not technically true - it misses then point that Smith will not want to give up a nice salary and pension and some oik will happily take the alternative of a (clearly very profitable) sinecure in the Lords.

I do not read labour blogs but this was funny if only from reading the comments. Apparently PoliticalBetting encourages betting and political corruption (and its run by a LibDem who should know better!).
