Recently, I emailed Richard Corbett MEP in relation to convicted prisoners and the franchise, in particular, in the European Election on 4 June 2009, and he supported the cause.

He also said:

"The Council of Europe has its own Parliamentary Assembly composed of members appointed from the national parliaments of its member states. The leader of the British delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly is the Rt. Hon. John Prescott MP and you may wish to take the matter up with him".

Perhaps, John Prescott can take time out from the unimportant blog spat and concentrate on something important which does concern him? I get involved in blog spats, but I keep focused on the main object and it takes priority.

There are several prisons in the Humberside and Yorkshire regions, I live in Hull as does John Prescott. I don't mind taking the time to speak to him, he needs to take the time to listen and then act. It does not require him to overreact like when he has egg on his face, his fist is not required for punching those in government to come to their senses.

Events dear boy, events said...

With reference to No 11 I have replied to John Rentoul on my blog.

Re. number 12: describing that as "an opinion poll" is a bit of a stretch, to say the least!
