Looking for a New Office in Westminster

It seems the recession hasn't hit the Westminster office property market yet. For the last six months the Total Politics team have been trying to find a new office somewhere within spitting distance of Parliament. We're expanding our business in the next few months and need more space than we currently have. We thought we had found somewhere ideal but are being messed about, and the agents can't come up with any office space that isn't in Grosvenor Gardens.

So I thought I'd cut out the middle man and ask my readers. Do any of you know of office space available in the Westminster or Charing Cross area, or even, whisper, on the South Bank? We need 1,200-1,500 square feet (and no, I don't know what that is in metres!) but would consider larger, or even slightly smaller, at the right price!

Feel free to email me privately. (Click CONTACT on the banner).

15 minute walk away. Flexible space, able to increase and decrease easily........

the trouble is that everyone wants to spit on politicians these days so these sorts of offices are in high demand.

Ring up John Lyon, could do a time share on his offices - you'll have to vacate between 2.30 and 3.15 on Thursday afternoons but other than that, it's all yours.

Really. Divide by ten :-)

Just ask any Liebour minister Iain. I hear Jacqui Spliffs sister, Geoff Hoon, Margaret Beckett do a nice line in second homes.

Jacqui Smith's is likely to be vacant quite soon.

Sorry, the only offer I've had is one office of 25m2 in a Victorian gothic building - not to everyone's taste, but the building has subsidised bars and dining rooms, a gym and rifle range. The office comes with a free security pass and the building has 24hr porterage and security cover. The Leasor is looking to sub-let for a very reasonable rate - he hardly uses it - but the term is only until mid 2010.

Give me a tug if interested.

You wouldn't have this problem in Cardiff Bay

Why do you need the central office? Aren't most the staff just proof readers and stuff? Can't you be based in ego-free Streatham or somewhere and wifi it all in?

There are quite a few places in Vauxhall, which is near, nice and, I would guess, a lot cheaper than Westminster. Plus you will have thepleasure of paying your business rates to Lambeth.
