given the toerags they have as nominal parents."

Straight out the Brown book of 'how to win votes in a left wing constituency'

Field should join the Conservatives - they need all the moral authority they can muster to overcome the disastrous social decline of our country under Labour.

I like Frank. I can't really think of many other Labour politicians I have much time for any more.

and quite bizarly this will not even cause a ripple in Birkenhead. He literally can do no wrong in the eyes of his loyal birkenheders. He is referred to as Mr Field everywhere he goes.

Frank Field has been earmarked for the speakers chair when that ugly little toad Bercow is given the bums rush by Farage I believe?
A man whose obvious talents were not put to far better use is deeply saddening but indicative of the rotten state of Westminster, a parliament that stiffles the talented while promoting the dross is a signal of a decomposing democracy I fear.

He speaks the truth. And such toe rags are nurtured by the out of control welfare state. It has got to stop because the kids are paying the price.

It's amazing what you can get away with saying if you have a little respect from your listeners.

This is not applicable to most MPs.

The same toerags, parasites that keep labour in power, be thankful to them Frank, you should be lucky that labour have created even more with their education policy of the last 13 years.
Even more knob-heads, screwing this country.

It's hard not to like Frank Field, he's an exemplary MP. The man should cross the floor ASAP.

I used to dread the word 'Staesman', but Frank Field actually fits the bill nicely.

He's totally diffeent to the rest of the poor relations he has to work with on the 'administration' benches.

Powerful! Can we get Field and Bercow to swap parties?

Quite frankly if this remark costs Frank Field votes in the Ford Estate and Birkenhead North End, he's going to pick up Tory/Lib Dem votes in Oxton and Prenton

In fact if he'd been the Labour candidate in Wallasey, Wirral West and Wirral South, I doubt if we would gain any of them next month. Fortunataly, there's more than a good chance that Geoff Clarke, Leah Fraser and Esther McVey will win the three other Wirral seats
